LiteCure, LLC Announces International Expansion for Pain Therapy Laser.
Newark, DE, November 12, 2007 - LiteCure, a Delaware based manufacturer of medical lasers today announce an international expansion of its innovative LCT-1000 Deep Tissue Laser for pain therapy. A team from LiteCure sales dept. will be attending the Medica trade fair in Dusseldorf Germany. This is the world's largest gathering of medical equipment manufacturers. 17 airplane hangar sized halls will be full of the world's latest medical innovations, designs and ideas. Litecure believes that this is the perfect venue to introduce the LCT-1000 to the wider world. Distribution countries from around the world have shown interest in the product and they will be meeting with the LiteCure representatives throughout the show.
The LCT-1000 is the only US made 10 watt laser for pain therapy. A non invasive, side effect free, modality that can have a profound effect on chronic and acute pain. Doctors across the US are using the LCT-1000 to bring new levels of pain relief to patients with a variety of conditions.
Dr. Brian Pryor, CEO and founder said that the clinical results were overwhelmingly positive.
Acute sports injuries like torn hamstrings, typically a difficult area to treat, are responding after as little as one treatment. More chronic issues, like carpal tunnel, Morton's neuroma, a painful nerve condition of the foot and low back pain are also showing very positive results.
Dr. Pryor went on to say "There is a long history of light based medicine in Europe and the rest of the world. The Scandinavian countries in particular have done literally hundreds of clinical trials on the many beneficial aspects of laser light on the body. Typically they have used very low powered lasers, in the 100 milliwatt range. By increasing that beneficial power by as much as on hundred times, LiteCure is taking this therapy to a new level of effectiveness. Treatment times are greatly reduced and patients literally feel their body responding to the light. We are proud to be expanding this US made device to the greater medical community."
