Long-term effect of high-intensity laser therapy in the treatment of patients with chronic low back pain: a randomized blinded placebo-controllled trial

This study evaluated HILT (High Intensity Laser Therapy) alone or with exercise for treatment of chronic low back pain. The HILT was pulsed Nd:Yag (1,064 nm) delivered a dose of 3,000 J. Results indicate that HILT combined with exercise was more effective than either HILT alone or placebo + exercise.
