7th Annual Main Street Mile in Newark, Delaware, October 5, 2013
NEWARK, DE – September 10, 2013 – Companion® Therapy announces the sponsorship of the 7th Annual Main Street Mile in Newark, Delaware on October 5, 2013.
The Main Street Mile is a one-mile walk/run through downtown Newark to support the Newark K9 unit and the Downtown Newark Partnership. Hundreds of runners come out each year to support this worthy cause. These police dogs require an investment of over $15,000 to be trained for the work they do for the Newark community.
Companion Therapy Laser, as a business located in Newark, Delaware, is proud to be a part of this event. Diane Miller, Laser Liaison & Customer Experience Manager at Companion Therapy Laser, is highly involved in this community of working dogs and has personally trained numerous dogs over the years.
Of the Main Street Mile she comments, “We are looking forward to giving back to the community in our own backyard. Training K9 working dogs is an incredible commitment and we are looking forward to supporting this group of canine heroes. Our company and canine walkers are looking forward to participating in the walk!”
