Jackson Streeter, MDDr. Streeter is the CEO of the Florida Institute for the Commercialization of Public Research, a diversified early stage fund for Florida based companies. Prior to this, he was the CEO of Banyan Biomarkers, where he raised $80M from the DOD and $10M in private investment. He was CEO and CSO at PhotoThera Inc, a medical device company that raised $140M in venture capital and private equity investment. Dr. Streeter was also the co-founder of American Veterinary Laser. He is the inventor on over twenty patents and author on multiple scientific publications. Dr. Streeter served as a member of the Governor’s Life Science Task Force for the State of Florida and FBI counter terrorism southeast working group. He currently serves on the Wallace H. Coulter Center for Translational Research Oversight Committee, Sid Martin Biotechnology Incubator board and Cade Museum board. Prior to becoming a medical industry executive, Dr. Streeter served as an Officer in the U.S. Navy. During his military service, Dr. Streeter was the first Naval Flight Surgeon selected as a TOPGUN staff instructor, served on several overseas deployments and was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal (2) and the Navy Commendation Medal. Dr. Streeter earned his BS degree in Biology from the University of Nevada Reno and his MD from the University of Nevada School of Medicine.
