Call for Abstracts – ASLMS Laser 2015 Annual Conference
NAALT (The North American Association for Light Therapy) will hold a special session on veterinary medicine at the Laser 2015 Annual Conference. Anyone working with light therapy in veterinary medicine is encouraged to submit abstracts for presentations at this session. You could join the scientists, researchers and physicians who will present their work at the 35th Annual Conference of the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery, Inc. (ASLMS), the world’s most prestigious gathering of laser and related technology professionals with over 2,000 attendees!
About the Session:
The use of LEDs and therapeutic lasers has seen a dramatic increase in veterinary medicine in the past decade. It is now the fastest growing treatment modality in small animal practice. This session will present many of the medical applications as well as the unique challenges in treating animals of various sizes and physiologies. The most common musculoskeletal and dermatologic applications will be highlighted but treatment of neurologic conditions, internal organs and neoplasia will also be covered.

Presenters will be given the opportunity to submit an electronic poster (ePoster). ePosters received an average of 10,000 online views. Approximately 250 abstracts will be selected for oral presentations. Abstracts are published in Lasers in Surgery and Medicine, the internationally renowned journal of the ASLMS.
