NEWARK, DE, June. 13, 2016 — Congratulations to Dr. Karin Silbernagel, Assistant Professor, Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Delaware. Dr. Silbernagel was awarded a Delaware Bioscience Center for Advanced Technology (CAT) grant for her proposal entitled “The effect of photobiomodulation on tendon.” The proposal was submitted in partnership with LiteCure, LLC. LiteCure’s contribution to the research included the donation of a LightForce EXP laser for use in the study.
It is hoped that the results of this research collaboration will provide a non-invasive tool that can be used to examine the effects of photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy and will add to the mechanistic understanding of PBM.
