In this article read two cases contributed by Michelle Bishop, DVM, from Rau Animal Hospital in Glenside, Pennsylvania. The following cases are reported in this article:
- 5-year-old, German shepherd “Moose” presented with an open wound from a toe amputation at another veterinary hospital. The initial history was of an inflamed digit that did not respond to antibiotic therapy. See how laser therapy helped resolve his open wound.
- 14-year-old, shepherd mix “Joma” presented after an acute onset of vestibular disease three weeks previously. The owners had been away on a cruise, placing Joma with a pet sitter when the vestibular signs occurted. The pet sitter had her admitted to their veterinarian for supportive care.
